INTACH Heritage Culinary Recognition Blue Plaque was proudly unveiled at Saldanha Bakery, one of Kolkata’s oldest and most beloved bakeries. Recognized for its culinary legacy and historical significance, the bakery is now a certified part of the city’s intangible heritage.
The event was attended by members of the INTACH Calcutta Regional Chapter, including Convenor Mr. G.M. Kapur, members Kinjal Bose and Siddharth Sarkar.
The plaque honours Saldanha Bakery’s long-standing contribution to Kolkata’s cultural and gastronomic landscape.
