INTACH W.B. and Calcutta Chapter: The Convenor Honoured for Conservation

On 22 February, INTACH West Bengal and Calcutta Regional Chapters Convenor Mr. G.M. Kapur was felicitated with prestigious Seni Samman for his contribution in conservation of Bengal’s tangible and intangible heritage. The ceremony was a part of Nayab: An Afternoon with Dhrupad, organised by Sovabazar Seni Sangeet Sabha and Artist Nectar Council of Culture. Held in the magnificent thakurdalan (courtyard) of historical Khelat Ghosh Bhavan. The majestic mansion on 47, Pathuriaghata Street, Kolkata 700006 also known as Pathuria Ghata Rajbari. The afternoon regaled with performances of: Gaudiya Nritya by Dr. Mahua Mukherjee, Rudraveena by Sri Bishoke Sil and Dhrupad vocal by Sri Supriyo Moitra.
